My Story . Who I Am .

My expertise lies in my deep marketing and operational experience at bringing startups to market.

I am an entrepreneurial visionary and a skilled veteran with go-to-market campaigns and strategy. I have not only helped many other companies and brands grow and start from scratch (and continue to do so), but I've also built my own share of them too.

With abundant marketing, partnerships and business development experience in global Fortune 500 companies both in the consumer and B2B space, I am also no stranger to how the big boys manage and run their ships.

Armed with extensive local and regional marketing knowledge, my experience with huge consumer-facing brands also means an intuitive understanding of what the market needs and desires.

Particularly skilled and experienced in the Lifestyle, Food and Beverage, Media and Entertainment verticals, my digital skill set across the many facets of marketing is definitely an area that I can contribute immensely to.

My tenures at some of the more well-known brands in the lifestyle business include Universal Music Group, Ministry of Sound, Cafe del Mar, F-Bar (by Fashion TV), Kandi Bar (by Hed Kandi), and Barfly (by Buddha Bar). There was also my very first stint at Equinix Data Centers –– a multi-national tech company that I started my career with, upon graduation with a degree in Business and Electronic Commerce.

My career journey has also given me the opportunity to work with a large number of very reputable brands including : Coca-Cola; Singtel; Lexus; Heineken; Chivas Regal; Barcardi; Absolut; Red Bull; Pioneer Electronics; Volkswagen; American Express; HSBC; UOB; DBS; Levi's; Red Cross; MTV; Sony Music; UIP; Warner Pictures; Novotel Group; Toyota; Mitsubishi; Mini; Ninja Van; McDonald’s; Zouk; STB; Her World; Wingtai; Motorola; Apple; Samsung.

Despite all that, I'm really just a regular guy at heart who wants to help get the job done.

How I Am A Little Different .

I am an experienced marketing specialist. When I first started my journey almost 20 years ago, going digital was almost non-existent to the mainstream, and that also meant that everything was still very much about the conventional methods of marketing — TV, Radio, Print, Out-Of-Home.

These are areas that I have deep expertise in, and what I have spent much of my career perfecting. Meeting KPIs and ROI has always been the end goal of every campaign I ran.

However, the Internet came along and redefined what marketing was all about. It made such a seismic shift in the way businesses were run, how we consumed information, and how people communicated. I realised that this was going to be the new normal and the disruptive, innovative force of digital technology would only intensify and not go away.

So I decided that in order to continue to be amazing with what I do, I had to not only keep up, but stay ahead of the curve as I fiercely adopted new ways of doing old things. Since then, I have made it my professional philosophy to go-to-market when ripples are just being formed — because I want to be ready to ride the wave when it comes.

This, I guess, is what makes me a little different from the rest.

I strongly believe that when you're an early mover, you won't have to struggle for just a tiny fraction of the already crowded marketplace.

When you're ahead, you don't need to go the market. The market will come to you.
